KU Innovation Contest Season 5 marks another significant milestone in the collaboration between the academic sector and the public sector in advancing the vision of an \u201cInnovation-Driven City.\u201d<\/strong> The initiative aims to sustainably enhance the quality of life for the people of Bangkok.<\/p>\r\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”” woodmart_inline=”no” text_larger=”no”]\r\n

<\/span>The Foundation of Collaboration: Government \u00d7 University<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\r\n

On 18 August 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was officially signed between the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and Kasetsart University. The agreement was represented by Dr. Damrong Sriphraram, Acting President of Kasetsart University, and Associate Professor Dr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok.<\/p>\r\n

This partnership seeks to create opportunities for the younger generation to actively participate in proposing solutions for urban development. Through systematic processes of analysis, critical thinking, and innovation design, students are encouraged to address real-world, area-based challenges in Bangkok.<\/p>\r\n

During the ceremony, the Governor delivered a special lecture entitled:
\u201cBangkok\u2019s Challenges: Innovation for Enhancing Quality of Life.\u201d<\/strong>

<\/span>KU Innovation Contest Season 5 \u201cLiving Better Bangkok \u2013 A Better City, A Better Life\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\r\n

Season 5 of the project was organized under the theme:
\u201cLiving Better Bangkok \u2013 A Better City, A Better Life.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

The initiative aims to provide students from all faculties of Kasetsart University with the opportunity to collaboratively develop innovative solutions addressing Bangkok\u2019s urban challenges. Participants engaged in experiential learning, field research, problem exploration, and the creative design of sustainable solutions.<\/p>\r\n

    The contest also welcomed students from a wide range of faculties, including Agriculture, Business Administration, Fisheries, Humanities, Forestry, Science, Engineering, Education, Economics, Architecture, Social Sciences, Environment, Agro-Industry, and the College of Integrated Science.<\/p>\r\n

    <\/span>Dr. Wuttipong\u2019s Role as a Member of the Judging Panel<\/span><\/h4>\r\n

    On 21 February 2026, the project concluded with the final innovation competition and award ceremony at Sutthum Areekul Hall, 50th Anniversary Building, Kasetsart University.
    Dr. Wuttipong Panitsettakorn, Managing Director of Technopreneur International Business Developer Co., Ltd. (TIBD), was honored to serve as a member of the judging panel.<\/p>\r\n

    As an expert in technology development and business commercialization, Dr. Wuttipong evaluated the projects based on creativity, technological feasibility, and the potential for real-world application\u2014both socially and commercially.<\/p>\r\n

    The awarded projects covered diverse dimensions, including economic development, social innovation, environmental sustainability, health, education, and urban safety. Each project demonstrated the creativity, determination, and systematic problem-solving capabilities of the students.<\/p>\r\n

    A key highlight of the closing ceremony was the official flag handover to the host faculties for KU Innovation Contest Season 6, symbolizing continuity and the ongoing commitment to fostering innovation.<\/p>\r\n

    Over the past five seasons, the project has consistently delivered impactful outcomes through cross-disciplinary collaboration, becoming an important platform for nurturing visionary student innovators.<\/p>\r\n
