What is a Non-Comedogenic / Non-acnegenic Test?
Non-comedogenic / Non-acnegenic test is a clinical trial designed to discover whether the skincare or cosmetic product that claims to have non-comedogenic/ non-acnegenic efficacy is true as its promises or not. In other words, this test is to find out if a skin care or cosmetic product is causing blocked pores or not. This test is conducted by recruiting volunteers that represent and have the characteristics of the target groups of the client’s products. Those volunteers will be using the tested products for one month. The testing of Non-comedogenic / Non-acnegenic tests is conducted with international standard modern equipment and within modern facilities.
During the testing period, the volunteers will be closely observed and monitored by accredited dermatologists and the findings during the testing period will be recorded. The efficacy and performance of the tested product will be evaluated and determined after the end of the test period. The skin condition will be evaluated before and after the usage of the product. The findings of the product analysis and performance will be detailed in a report.
Some of efficacy performance tests such as Whitening / Lightening/ Brightening, Depigmentation, Anti-wrinkles, Firming, Moisturizing, Non-comedogenic / Non-acnegenic, Scar Improvement, Non-drying / Transepidermal water loss (TEWL), and Sebum-Control can be conducted as a bundle or individually.
